This project involved a major rehabilitation of an existing covered deck and its stair access. Serviceable portions of the original blue-painted structure were retained, while extensive areas were rebuilt with new lumber. The work included replacing large sections of decking, rebuilding wood railing frames and top rails, installing new stair railings and balusters, and reinforcing multiple areas of the existing structure. Connections and supporting components were strengthened where needed to create a more solid and dependable outdoor space. The completed project preserves the usable portions of the original deck while providing a substantially renewed walking surface, improved rail system, stronger construction, and safer access between the deck and yard.
